对于卑诗省的任何婚礼，婚礼结束后，新婚夫妇、两位见证人和婚姻监礼人必须在结婚许可证和结婚注册表上签名。
婚礼结束后的48小时内，婚姻监礼人向人口统计局提交注册信息作永久的法律记录。人口统计局在婚姻注册后才可以颁发结婚证书。
