Plan for Allocation of the Number of Deputies to the Eleventh National People’s Congress
(Adopted at the 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People’s Congress on April 27, 2007)
In accordance with the Decision of the Fifth Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress on the Number of Deputies to the Eleventh National People’s Congress and on the Election of the Deputies, the total number of deputies to the Eleventh National People’s Congress shall not exceed 3000 and the number of deputies respectively allocated to each province, autonomous region or municipality under the Central Government shall be the same as that to the Tenth National People’s Congress. The specific allocation plan shall be as follows:
Beijing Municipality 46, Tianjin Municipality 36, Hebei Province 111, Shanxi Province 60, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region 53, Liaoning Province 103, Jilin Province 63, Heilongjiang Province 93, Shanghai Municipality 55, Jiangsu Province 145, Zhejiang Province 78, Anhui Province 104, Fujian Province 56, Jiangxi Province 73, Shandong Province 168, Henan Province 153, Hubei Province 114, Hunan Province 109, Guangdong Province 151, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region 83, Hainan Province 15, Chongqing Municipality 56, Sichuan Province 137, Guizhou Province 60, Yunnan Province 86, Tibet Autonomous Region 17, Shaanxi Province 63, Gansu Province 43, Qinghai Province 17, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region 15, Xingjiang Uygur Autonomous Region 56, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region 36, Macao Special Administrative Region 12, and People’s Liberation Army of China 265, and 13 deputies being temporarily allocated to Taiwan Province. The other 255 shall be allocated by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress in accordance with law.
