她选择的诗歌来自美国诗人罗伯特·弗罗斯特（Robert Frost）的《未选择的路》 （The Road Not Taken）。

朗读完后，汤唯说出了自己对于“选择”的理解：

未来的不同其实都是基于我们今天所做的选择。我很庆幸我学了英文，而且我觉得我很坚持地去学了我想要学的东西。

 

就像诗中所说的那样，其实我能感觉到作者可能有另外的一层意思，就是“回看昨日，其实有一声叹息在里面”，我觉得千万不要给自己的未来留下一份叹息，当你应该觉得去做这件事的时候就去做。
